WV BEACH CLUB

Inter-club tournaments: 

Every other Saturday starting on May 17th, WVVC will be hosting inter-club tournaments to give the opportunity to compete for the top doubles pair within the club. Each beach session consists of two tournaments, with the first day consisting of pool play, and the second day leading to a championship bracket.  Medals will be awarded to the first and second place teams in each division, and first place teams will be admitted into the second session of WV Beach for free. Pools with less than 4 teams will be combined with another. We intended to mimic the real travel tournament experience right here in Rockland!

Practices:

Teams will be split in divisions by gender/age groups (Ex. 14U Boys, 12U Girls). With, or without a partner, you will still practice with your team on Wednesdays and Sundays. Upon practicing your coaches will pair you up with another free agent within the division to compete at our inter-club tournament that occurs every other Saturday. Practices will be beach volleyball oriented, teaching the skills of mastering the sand in a fun and competitive style. Beach volleyball directly translates to indoor skills by enhancing strength and confidence.

Teams will meet twice a week for practice, for 1.5 hours on Wednesdays, and Sundays. Court schedule will be as follows (subject to change based on team amounts).

Sessions: All sessions include 2 practices per week, 2 Inter-camp all-day tournaments separate from practice time. APPLIES TO CLUB TEAMS ONLY. NATIONAL TEAMS RUN THE WHOLE SEASON.

Session 1: May 4th - May 31st

Session 2: June 1st - June 28th 

Session 3: June 29th - July 26th
